Twin Fluorite and Galena
Dimensions: 10.5 x 3.7 x 8.5cm
Opened in 2017 by UK Mining Ventures on the Sutcliffe vein of the former Rogerley quarry, the Diana Maria Mine extends the story of the legendary Weardale fluorites, which began in 1972. The site has since joined the Greenbank Vein, the historic Rogerley vein. The blue fluorescence is remarkable, clearly visible in daylight as well as under LED lighting. This piece is of a beautiful size, the crystals are very well distributed over the whole and are all perfect, without any flaws. |
Dimensions without the acrylic base, which is supplied with the mineralogical specimen.
The mineral is not glued to the base (flexible sealant).
