Cerasite

Location: Yunohana, Kameoka city, Kyoto District, Japan
Very nice indialite-cordierite pseudomorph, locally called Cherry blossom (sakura ishi). This beautiful trapiche crystallization is rare in this coppery color (usually white). A very original little rarity to keep in a collection.
Crystallization diameter: 6mm
  Dimensions without the acrylic base, which is supplied with the mineralogical specimen.
The mineral is not glued to the base (soft putty).
