Barite - Quartz

 Location: Jinkouhe District, Leshan, Sichuan, China
 Between 2002 and 2008, some very fine barite-quartz associations were discovered in China. While the number of high-quality specimens was not large, this association, with its highly original crystal structure, was immediately prized. The specimen shown here is particularly beautiful. The barite crystallization is superb. This specimen comes from the Bonisoli collection (original label included, No. 5721).
 Dimensions without the acrylic base, which is supplied with the mineralogical specimen.
 The mineral is not glued to the base (flexible sealant).
