An extraordinary pocket of Apophyllite discovered at the end of 2023. The crystals have a luminosity and brilliance never seen before, as soon as the samples are illuminated, the light is reflected in a sparkling way, the white stilbite matrix adding contrast to this mirror effect. These microcrystals form very aesthetic spheres with perfect crystallization. These pieces remind me by their appearance of certain Rhodochrosites from South Africa (typically "the N'Chwanning snail") which have this density of color and this incomparable brilliance. The pieces where several groups of crystals are gathered on a matrix are very rare in this discovery. The presentation, the aesthetics of the whole is remarkable ... very harmonious! |
