An extraordinary pocket of Apophyllite discovered at the end of 2023. The crystals have a luminosity and brilliance never seen before, as soon as the samples are illuminated, the light is returned in a sparkling way, the white matrix of stilbite adding contrast to this mirror effect. These microcrystals form very aesthetic spheres with perfect crystallization. These pieces remind me by their appearance of certain Rhodochrosites from South Africa (Typically "the N'Chwanning snail") which have this density of color and this incomparable brilliance. The group of crystals is perfect, measures 1.4cm, it is one of the rare pieces found adapting to a Thumbnail format. |
