An extraordinary pocket of Apophyllite discovered at the end of 2023. The crystals have a luminosity and brilliance never seen before, as soon as the samples are illuminated, the light is reflected in a sparkling way, the white stilbite matrix adding contrast to this mirror effect. These microcrystals form very aesthetic spheres with perfect crystallization. These pieces remind me by their appearance of certain Rhodochrosites from South Africa (typically "the N'Chwanning snail") which have this density of color and this incomparable brilliance. The composition of the whole with its white stilbite crystals is very aesthetic and original. The Apophyllite crystallization measures 8mm. Excellent piece for collectors of miniatures or thumbnails by reducing the matrix a little. |
