 Locality: De San Eugenio, Artigas, Uruguay.
 Far superior to Brazilian amethysts due to its very dense purple color, typical of this deposit. This spherical crystallization is particularly aesthetic and therefore highly sought after.
 Dimensions without the acrylic base, which is supplied with the mineralogical specimen.
 The mineral is not glued to the base (flexible sealant).
