Afghanite on Calcite

 Locality: Ladjuar Medam, Sar-e-Sang, Kuran wa Munjan District, Badakhshan, Afghanistan
 A rare mineral, especially with such a perfect formation. This Afghanite crystal is complete, with beautiful crystalline faces. The color is excellent, particularly the gem summit part. The crystal measures 2.5 cm. A very attractive presentation on a calcite matrix; all the elements are here to create an excellent collector's piece.
 Dimensions without the acrylic base, which is supplied with the mineralogical specimen.
 The mineral is not glued to the base (flexible sealant).
